In order to do so, we have taken actions such as:<\/p>\n<h3>Partnership with Reforest\u2019action<\/h3>\n<p>The firm and its members have entered into a partnership with Reforest\u2019action by supporting the planting of 2,000 trees in order to act in favor of forests and to further reduce their ecological footprint.<\/p>\n<p>This partnership is a long-term one and the firm will continue to finance the planting of trees in the future.<\/p>\n<p>You can contribute, if you wish, on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reforestaction.com\/en\/lexing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this page<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Reducing\u00a0the use of paper<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>by printing double-sided by default<\/li>\n<li>by cancelling the automatic printing of every e-mail<\/li>\n<li>by keeping an electronic copy of documents and proceeding files to limit excessive printing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Public transport and collective car use<\/h3>\n<p>We encourage our members and clients to take the public transportations. These transports are systematically referenced in the access plan of the firm. The members of the firm are also invited to share their cars for every meeting.<\/p>\n<h3>Teleworking<\/h3>\n<p>Lexing promotes the use of IC Technologies. Therefore, each member of the staff receives a secure remote access to the firm\u2019s server that enables them to telework.<\/p>\n<h3>Energy savings<\/h3>\n<p>Wherever it is possible, the firm replaces old lightbulbs with energy saving or LED devices. We consistently encourage the installation of energy saving materials when building new offices.<\/p>\n<h3>Limitation of water consumption<\/h3>\n<p>All our staff is committed to remedy any water leakage and avoid abundant consumption of water. We also try to include water-efficient devices in our offices (WC etc.).<\/p>\n<h3>Ecological equipment<\/h3>\n<p>Our firm actively replaces its electronic equipment and hardware with materials that consume less energy and show fewer toxic components.<\/p>\n<p>Lexing also purchase recyclable batteries and toner.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Regular reminders about responsible day to day behaviors at the office<\/h3>\n<p>We often remind our staff that they need to adopt a responsible behavior towards the environment (e.g. switching off the light when leaving a room, sorting of garbage (glass\/papers), using recyclable materials for any consumption goods (glass bottles instead of plastic) etc.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Every economic activity has\u00a0an environmental impact.
